11 TECH 18 wanted to be professionally active in supporting Nottingham’s community to decrease worklessness, improving individual lives, their families, the local community and the economy as a whole. The aim of The Employability Skills Program was to meet this need by taking a holistic approach to help individuals:
- Be competent at researching job opportunities and have the confidence and skills to be proactive in applying for work.
- Address potential barriers to Career Planning
- Realise and unlock their potential
- Identify individual goals
- Develop work skills to support their employability.
